NSSGA’s Noise and Dust workshop, so successful in training workers on how to measure and manage for over-exposures of crystalline silica, noise and other health hazards, is set to take place Tuesday through Thursday, November 8-10 in Irwindale, CA (located near the Los Angeles suburb of Pasadena).  The three day-long workshop delivers user-friendly information on how to sample for and control exposures of noise and dust, as well as how to analyze test results.  The workshop consists of two days of classroom instruction, as well as one day of on-site application throughout a complete shift. The workshop instructor will be Chip Booth of the MSHA Academy.  It will be held at the Lehigh Hanson quarry in Irwindale, CA.
