MDOT and Its Business Units Have Won More Than 230 Awards and Acknowledgements since January 2015
The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and its various units continue to win local and national acclaim for delivering outstanding initiatives while meeting the daily transportation needs of Marylanders. Transportation Secretary Pete K. Rahn today announced that MDOT has received 232 awards and acknowledgements from January 2015 through July of this year.
“Our dedicated team members work very hard every day to provide travelers exceptional quality products and customer service throughout Maryland,” Secretary Rahn said.
The awards are for MDOT’s multimillion-dollar transit projects, safety and security measures, highway construction programs and advertising campaigns. The honors showcase the state’s commitment to safety, sustainability, infrastructure, customer service, and economic prosperity.
