MdQI Spring Construction & Engineering Career Day
Event Details
The MdQI Outreach Subcommittee will be hosting our annual Baltimore City Engineering and Construction Career Day on May 20, 2025 at location to be determined. The support of our industry partners and volunteers has allowed us to successfully host this event as well as other worthwhile programs and initiatives throughout the year.
The Spring event is projected to host 400 students from Baltimore City Public Middle Schools. The Career Day event showcases Construction Trades and Engineering Careers in the Transportation Industry with the help of local engineering firms, contractors, material producers, suppliers, and government personnel. Visit our student website to see pictures and information from past events at students.mdqi.org.
We also invite you to join us as a volunteer at the Engineering and Construction Career Day from 8:00am - 2:00pm to continue our mission, introducing students to the various careers in the transportation industry thus increasing the pool of qualified candidates in the industry. Click here to sign up as a volunteer.
Lastly, we continue to expand and refine incentives for our sponsorship partners, by providing publicity, recognition, and appreciation for their generous donations. Our joint venture provides mutual growth in our organizations and better educational opportunities for students in our communities. Working together, we can empower students to further pursue transportation-related careers.
