    • Businesses can apply for up to $50,000 in flexible funding to help continue operations- whether that be payroll, sanitizing, providing equipment to allow employees to work from home

  • All business-related tax filings and payments extended to June 1, 2020. This applies to certain business returns with due dates during the months of March, April, and May 2020 for business filing sales and use tax, withholding tax, admissions and amusement tax, alcohol tobacco and motor fuel excise taxes, tire recycling fees, and bay restoration fee returns.
  • All individual and corporate income tax filings will be given a 90-day extension for tax payments. No interest or penalty for late payments will be imposed if 2019 tax payments are made by July 15, 2020.
  • Businesses who paid their March Sales and Use Tax can request a refund from the Comptroller’s Office. Businesses who paid their Maryland Sales & Use Taxes for March early may request a refund of their payment by emailing or by calling 410-260-4020. This payment can be postponed until the new June 1 deadline.
